The change in bookings is enquiries multiplied by the difference between your instant booking rate and your current booking rate, and it can be negative. Attended bookings remove your no-show rate, then multiply by the average appointment value. Admin time saved is the bookings after the change multiplied by the minutes of manual handling each one no longer needs, priced at your staff hourly cost. Net monthly benefit is the revenue change plus admin value minus the monthly tool cost, and the annual figure is twelve times that. Return is net monthly benefit divided by tool cost. Illustrative estimate based on your assumptions. Actual results vary and are not guaranteed.

Limits and what to check

The change in bookings equals enquiries × (instant booking rate − current rate), so a lower rate shows a loss. Attended bookings remove no-shows, and their value is attended bookings × appointment value. Admin value equals bookings after the change × minutes saved ÷ 60 × hourly cost. Net benefit subtracts the tool cost, and annual figures multiply by 12. All rates are your assumptions.

Frequently asked questions

Using the tool

Q1Why does the no-show rate matter?

Only attended appointments create revenue, so extra bookings are reduced by your no-show rate before their value is counted.

Q2Is the booking ROI result a promise of more appointments?

No. It shows what your own booking, no-show and value assumptions imply. It is not a benchmark or a forecast.

Q3Are my booking figures stored or sent anywhere?

No. The booking calculation runs in your browser, does not use an AI model and does not store your numbers.

Q4Why is admin time part of the booking calculation?

Manual booking takes staff time. Multiplying the minutes per booking by your hourly cost shows the time value alongside the extra appointments.
