Limits and what to check
Only extracted text is available to the model. It may miss layout, charts or relationships between table cells. Verify answers in the original document before acting on them.
Add a source without signing up. Documents must be no larger than 2 MB. Sources expire after one hour of inactivity and can be deleted during the session. AI answers may be incomplete or incorrect; check them against the source.

Text-based PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown or CSV files of up to 2 MB. Scanned PDFs have no readable text and are not supported.

The AI model is instructed to quote short exact excerpts with the source title, so you can find the passage and check it.
Q3Do I need an account to chat with a document?
No. Add a file and ask questions without signing up. Human verification and a limited number of free questions apply.
Q4How long does my uploaded document stay available?
It is deleted after one hour without an accepted question, and each accepted question restarts that hour. Start over deletes it at once.
