Limits and what to check
PDFs must be at most 2 MB and 50 pages, with no more than 250,000 extracted characters. Scanned PDFs are unsupported. Answers are drafts, and page numbers or quotations must be checked against the original.
Add a source without signing up. Documents must be no larger than 2 MB. Sources expire after one hour of inactivity and can be deleted during the session. AI answers may be incomplete or incorrect; check them against the source.

Text-based PDFs of up to 2 MB and 50 pages. Scanned or image-only PDFs have no readable text and are not supported.
Q2Can it give me page numbers?
No. Page numbers are not reliably available from extracted text, so answers quote short passages instead of citing pages.
Q3What happens with a very long PDF?
If the text is longer than the context limit, only an opening excerpt is used and you are told. Ask about later sections in a shorter file.
Q4When is my PDF deleted?
After one hour without an accepted question, or straight away when you choose Start over. No account is needed.
