Open up to 5 sitemap files, paste one, or both. Do not mix sitemaps and sitemap indexes.

Limits and what to check
It runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Each file is limited to 2 MB and all files together to 6 MB. Sitemaps and sitemap indexes cannot be mixed. Duplicate URLs keep the latest valid lastmod.

Frequently asked questions
Using the tool
Q1What happens to duplicates?
Entries with the same URL are kept once. When copies have different lastmod dates, the latest valid date is kept and the conflict is counted in the report.
Q2What are the limits?
Up to 5 files of 2 MB each and 6 MB together, 50,000 entries after merging and 50 output files. If a split would create more files, choose more entries per file. Larger inputs are refused, never cut short.
Q3Are my sitemaps uploaded to split or merge them?
No. Splitting and merging happen in your browser and nothing is sent to AI Smarty.
Q4Do I need an index after splitting?
Usually yes. Generate the optional index so search engines can find every split file from one address.
