What does Sitemap generator do?
Create a sitemap from a list of page URLs you already have. URLs are checked and escaped, duplicates are removed, and the result is UTF-8 XML in the sitemaps.org format.

Limits and what to check
It runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Each sitemap is limited to 2 MB and 50,000 entries, and larger input is refused rather than cut short. No crawling happens, so include every page you want listed. A lastmod date is only added when you supply it. Upload the file to your site and submit it in Search Console.

Using the tool
Q1Does it crawl my website?
No. It only uses the URLs you paste, so add every page you want listed. Each URL must be absolute and start with http or https.
Q2Why is lastmod missing from some entries?
A lastmod date is only added when you supply one, either after a URL or as a date for every entry. The tool never invents a modification date, because an inaccurate lastmod is worse than none. changefreq and priority are optional hints that Google ignores.
Q3Are my URLs sent anywhere when generating?
No. The sitemap is built in your browser and nothing is sent to AI Smarty. Up to 50,000 URLs and 2 MB of input are accepted.
Q4Where do I put the generated sitemap?
Upload sitemap.xml to your website, usually at the root, add it to robots.txt and submit it in Google Search Console. Submission does not guarantee indexing.
