Upload a text-based PDF and create an FAQ with answers based on the document.

## Purpose

Generate an FAQ from a brochure, price guide, terms document or report in PDF form. Questions are grouped by topic and the model is instructed to answer only from what the PDF says.

## How to use this tool

1. Upload one text-based PDF of up to 2 MB, complete verification and choose Prepare source.
2. Choose the number of questions and, optionally, the reader and topics to prioritise.
3. Generate the FAQ, compare answers with the PDF, then copy or download the Markdown.

## Limits and what to check

Text-based PDFs of up to 2 MB, 50 pages and 250,000 extracted characters are supported. Larger documents are rejected. Scanned PDFs contain no readable text. Page references only appear when the extracted text supports them.

### Which PDFs are supported?

### Are FAQ answers from a PDF guaranteed to match it?

No. The AI model is instructed to use only the extracted text and to list gaps instead of guessing, but it can still make mistakes. Check answers against the PDF.

### What happens to my PDF after generating?

The extracted text is deleted after one hour of inactivity, and Start over deletes it straight away. No account is needed.

### Can I choose how many questions are created?

Yes. Choose 5, 8 or 10 questions, and optionally name the audience and a focus such as returns or bookings.
