## Limits and what to check

The conversion runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Input is limited to 500,000 characters. XML with a DOCTYPE or entity declarations is refused for safety, and comments and processing instructions are left out.

### Is XML with entities supported?

Standard character entities are supported. Documents with a DOCTYPE or entity declarations are rejected, and nothing external is loaded.

### Is my XML uploaded?

No. XML is parsed in your browser and nothing is sent to AI Smarty. Input is limited to 500,000 characters.

### How are repeated XML records shown?

Sibling elements with the same fields become a table. Other elements become headings, with attributes as bullet points.

### Are XML comments kept?

No. Comments and processing instructions are left out. Element text, attributes and CDATA content are kept.
