## Limits and what to check

The conversion runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Input is limited to 500,000 characters. Check that the delimiter was detected correctly and that rows with missing cells were padded the way you expect.

### Which CSV formats are supported?

Comma, semicolon and tab separated data, with quoted fields, escaped quotes and line breaks inside quotes. Up to 10,000 rows and 100 columns.

### Is my CSV file uploaded to convert it?

No. The CSV is read and converted in your browser and nothing is sent to AI Smarty. Input is limited to 500,000 characters.

### Can I open a CSV file instead of pasting?

Yes. Open a .csv, .tsv or .txt file and it is read in your browser, or paste the data straight into the box.

### What if my first row is data rather than headings?

Choose Treat as data and the table gets generic column names, so the first row stays in the table body.
